Mrs. Green’s Story
Mrs. Green’s CANNAry was born from a simple belief: Genesee County deserved a dispensary that felt like the rest of Batavia. Locally owned, run by people who live here, and willing to take the time to actually answer your questions.
Founder Shelly Wolanske opened Mrs. Green’s CANNAry at 204 E. Main Street in 2025, making it the first licensed adult-use cannabis dispensary in Genesee County. Before that, Shelly co-founded Empire Hemp Co. in 2018, one of the region’s first trusted CBD retailers. When New York’s cannabis regulations required a choice between cultivating and retailing, Shelly chose her community, divesting from Empire Hemp Co. to build something that could serve Batavia directly.
